The genetic line is built on a foundation of dogs developed by Dr. and Mrs. Fred Gasow, of the late Salilyn
Kennels. They had produced some of the finest dogs in America. Dogs winning Westminister several times
including Ch. Salilyn's Aristocrat and Ch. Salilyn's Condor. My first bred champion, Ch. Dansen's Heir of
Distinction, was the first of DANSEN Springers to win at Speciality Shows in 1974 at the El Paso English
Springer Spaniel Association, winning WD, BOW and Best of Breed. DANSEN Springers win Championships
easily at all breed and speciality shows. American Spaniel Club Winner's include Ch. Jubilee's Dansen Arpege
WB, BOW at 6-9 months, and 2002 Winner's Dog Ch. Dansen's Durazno. Other speciality winner's include Ch.
Dansen's Jubilee Companion, Ch. Dansen's Jubilee Etain Wyngait, Ch. Dansen's Contessa, have won at the
National Speciality ( ESSFTA) and local host club specialities. The latest is Ch. DANSEN's Freedom, finished
as a young dog with several Best of Breed wins from the classes over existing specials.

Thank you for your interest in some of the finest English Springer
Spaniels available. I am not a puppy mill and primarily bred for myself.
I am a dentist by profession, with genetics education from Texas A&M
University.
I breed pets with emphasis on temperaments, soundness, and tested
health. All breeding stock is OFA certified against hip dysplasia, CERF
slit lamp tested for blindness and cataracts, and temperament tested
with scores ranging from 1-5 out of 10. DANSEN Springers can wing
birds in the field and are eager to please. These dogs are used in
therapy, agility and obedience. The dogs used for Conformation
Shows have won Best of Breed in many countries, including
Switzerland, Thailand, Canada, Mexico, South Africa and the United
States.

I provide agreements of sale as well as health guarantees for the
health and well being of the canine purchased in addition to
Pedigrees of ancestors for genetic breeding.
Puppies are placed in fine quality homes at fees of $1,500.00 to
$5,000.00 pending your request and negotiation for full ownership or
the less expensive co-ownership program. Females are the most
expensive.
DANSEN Springers are either black and white or liver (brown) and
white. Literature for reading on the breed and dogs forming the
DANSEN line of Springer Spaniels can be found via most book
stores. Authors Ed Roggencaamp and Julia Gasow, "The Complete
English Springer Spaniel" and authors Maxwell Riddle and Catherine
Nicholas are recommended before you decide to purchase one of
these beautiful dogs.
